What is it? / Overview
Soluble fibers absorb water to form a gel improving stool consistency while feeding beneficial gut bacteria. They also help lower LDL cholesterol and reduce post-meal blood glucose making them one of the most evidence-based nutritional interventions for digestive and cardiometabolic health.
How is it used? / Administration
Form: Blend of psyllium, partially hydrolyzed guar gum (PHGG), oat beta-glucan, or acacia fiber
Typical dose studied: 5–15 g/day increasing gradually
Timing: Once or twice daily with meals and plenty of water
