Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BP Movement Medicine ("Knozela," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Knozela website and application (the "Service"). The Service is intended only for individuals located in the United States.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information: Name, email address, authentication information, and related account records generated when you create an account or log in, including through one-time email links.

1.2 Health Assessment & Wellness Data: Information you voluntarily provide through the health input flow, including demographics, lifestyle, symptoms, health history, nutrition preferences, medications, conditions, allergies, optional biomarker values (typed in or captured from a lab-report document or photo you choose to upload), and optional wearable information that you manually enter. Knozela does not currently connect directly to wearable devices, laboratories, healthcare providers, or electronic health record systems — a document or photo you upload shares with us only what you choose to submit, and does not create any relationship or data-sharing arrangement between Knozela and the lab or provider that issued it.

Relevant assessment data may be securely transmitted to Anthropic’s Claude API to assist in identifying, organizing, and presenting applicable content from Knozela’s pre-developed recommendation databases and rules, and to extract biomarker values from lab-report documents or photos you choose to upload. Uploaded documents and photos are transmitted only for this extraction and are not stored by Knozela afterward. Biomarkers, medications, conditions, allergies, symptoms, and health history do not positively trigger recommendations; they are used for safety exclusions and relevant educational information.

1.3 Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Knozela does not receive or store your full payment-card number. For details on how Stripe handles your payment information, see Stripe’s Privacy Policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.

1.4 Usage, Device & Technical Information: We may receive ordinary technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service, such as IP address, browser or device type, request information, timestamps, and server or security logs generated by our hosting and infrastructure providers.

2. Cookies, Analytics & Tracking Technologies

Knozela currently intends to use only essential or functional technologies necessary to operate, authenticate, secure, and maintain the Service. On knozela.com itself, we do not currently use advertising pixels or third-party advertising trackers, and we do not currently use product analytics for advertising.

Amazon Associates & affiliate links: Knozela participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com, and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through "Where to Buy" links on the Supplement Guide and your personalized results, at no additional cost to you. If you click one of these links, Amazon (or its service providers) may use its own cookies or similar technologies on Amazon.com to track the referral and any resulting purchase. That tracking happens on Amazon’s own website under Amazon’s own privacy practices — Knozela does not place any tracking technology of its own on these links, and does not receive or record which affiliate links you click or what you purchase.

Before publication, Knozela will verify its production configuration, including Vercel settings and deployed scripts, to confirm whether any analytics, error-monitoring, session-replay, or non-essential tracking technology is enabled. If Knozela later adds analytics or similar technologies, this Policy and any legally required consent or opt-out controls will be updated before or when those technologies are deployed. Health assessment content should not be intentionally sent to advertising or analytics providers.

3. How We Use Information

• Generate and display personalized wellness recommendations from Knozela’s pre-developed databases and rules.
• Apply safety exclusions based on user-reported conditions, medications, allergies, symptoms, biomarkers, and health history.
• Provide educational information concerning user-entered health or wellness data.
• Create, maintain, and authenticate accounts.
• Process payments and manage membership tiers.
• Operate, test, debug, evaluate, secure, and improve the performance and reliability of the Service and recommendation logic, including identifying errors and correcting rules.
• Communicate about accounts, transactions, service changes, security, or policies.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Knozela does not use consumer health data to train artificial intelligence models.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information or consumer health data. We share information only as needed with service providers acting on our behalf, as required by law, or in connection with a corporate transaction subject to applicable law.

• Vercel — website/application hosting, infrastructure, delivery, and related technical operations.
• Supabase — authentication and database hosting, including stored account, assessment, and result data.
• Anthropic — Claude API processing used to assist in applying Knozela’s pre-developed recommendation logic and presenting personalized results.
• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• hCaptcha — bot and abuse protection on account creation and login, analyzing browser/device signals to distinguish human visitors from automated requests.

The exact data each provider receives depends on the function it performs. Knozela seeks to limit disclosure to information reasonably necessary for that function.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and assessment data for as long as your account is active or as otherwise reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements. Consumer health data is subject to the additional terms in the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Choices & Rights

• You may request access to or a copy of certain information, subject to applicable law.
• You may request correction or deletion of eligible information.
• You may close your account.

Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy or consumer-health-data rights. Knozela’s current nationwide compliance approach is designed to address consumer-health-data laws that can apply without large-business revenue or user-count thresholds, including Washington, Nevada, and Connecticut. Other comprehensive state privacy laws may become applicable as Knozela grows or if its practices change.

We will acknowledge, verify, and respond to privacy requests within the time required by applicable law. Health-data deletion requests subject to Nevada law will be handled within Nevada’s applicable statutory timeframe after authentication, subject to lawful exceptions and backup/archive rules. Where another state requires a shorter or different timeframe for a particular request, we will follow that requirement. 8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18. If we learn that we collected information from an individual under 18 in violation of this policy, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version with a new Effective Date and provide additional notice when required by law.
