What is it? / Overview
Wellness uses some people report: use as a natural antibiotic and antiviral support. This is anecdotal, and there isn't strong clinical evidence that it works for everyone. Oregano oil contains carvacrol and thymol, compounds with strong antimicrobial activity in laboratory studies. Human clinical evidence is limited, and there is little high-quality evidence supporting its use for treating infections — it should never replace appropriate antimicrobial therapy.

Form: Enteric-coated oregano oil standardized to 60–80% carvacrol
Typical dose studied: 150–300 mg/day (or as standardized by carvacrol content)
Timing: With meals to reduce GI irritation
Most evidence comes from laboratory and animal studies, not human clinical trials. Use standardized, enteric-coated products. Popular as a natural antimicrobial but evidence is preliminary. Avoid medicinal doses in pregnancy -- worth stating plainly even though the platform's own intake flow already hard-blocks recommendation generation for anyone reporting current pregnancy.
